Associate Medical Director - Clinical Development - Oncology

A division of a an established global pharmaceutical company are looking to recruit an oncologist with experience in clinical development to act as Associate Medical Director. This division specifically focus on innovative small molecules and biopharmaceuticals, and this particular role would cover various clinical trial phases as well as be involved in the Biomsimilars development team.

Role Detail:
As a pharmaceutical physician with experience in both oncology and clinical development, you will be office-based in Switzerland and line manage an international team. You responsibilities will also include;
* Act as the Medical Responsible for assigned clinical trials (Phase I to IV)
* To participate actively to the Development Program clinical deliverables including briefing book creation and dossier development
* Review and sign-off on all relevant documents related to clinical studies (including study protocols and reports)
* Lead the review, analysis and interpretation of study data
* Develops the concept sheet detail and protocol in alignment with the Biosimilar Development Plan
* Supports medical marketing activities by providing specialist input into Phase IV development, pre-and-post launch and KOL development
* Works with the Trial Manager and related colleagues from Global Pharmacovigilance to ensure the appropriate reporting of adverse events and other on-going safety trial data
* Collaborate with the CRO and the Trial Manager in the selection of principal investigators and recruitment of clinical sites

Remuneration:

Required Candidate Profile:
* Medical Doctor
* High preference in securing a medic with a specialisation in Oncology
* Experience in pharmaceutical medicine in a drug development role at an international level
* Expert knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines and practices
* Experience of collaborating with CROs
* Fluent in English language (both written and verbal)
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Project management experience
