MEDICAL MANAGER JOB - UK

A research-based global pharmaceutical business is looking to recruit a Medical Manager to work within their established UK affiliate medical team.

The Role:

Reporting to the Medical Director you will have work on a number of marketed products and take on leadership responsibilities for the wider medical team. Your primary responsibilities shall be:

- Provide medical & scientific support and guidance to internal marketing and sales teams
- Promotional material sign-off for all designated products
- Key Opinion Leader relationship management and development
- Ensure ethical compliance to the ABPI Code of Practice
- Support the Medical Director in the management of the medical affairs function
- Assist Medical Information and Drug Safety teams, including advising on review of signal detection and adverse events
- Provide input to clinical development planning for related trials
- Manage clinical studies undertaken by CROs taken on behalf of the business
- To provide support and training to customer facing brand teams for related product areas

Candidate:

- Medical degree
- GMC registration
- Clinical experience in the NHS, or a similar environment
- Currently working in pharmaceutical medicine in a medical affairs position
- Knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice (Signatory sign-off is desired, but not essential)
- Strong commercial mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- Good team working ethic
- Potential to lead others
