Senior Medical Advisor Job

A market-leading pharmaceutical business are looking to recruit a Senior Medical Advisor to manage a new product as part of their already well established portfolio.

Location:
South-west London

Role Profile:
Office-based at the organisation's UK Headquarters, you will work alongside the Head of Medical Affairs and wider medical team to provide medical advisory support to new business opportunities and strategic objectives related to the therapy area. The key responsibilities of these role are as follows:

- Provide medical and scientific support to medico-marketing and sales teams internally
- Advise and educate the above teams when required, relating to new product developments and development strategy
- Participate in local clinical trials; including design and implementation where appropriate alongside Principal Investigators
- Provide medical sign-off on all marketing and promotional materials related to the product and therapy area
- Develop relationships with Thought Leaders (KOLs) to maintain understanding of current patient care and on-going changes in the therapy area
- Review of Clinical Development Plans, ensuring they're in line with business and brand objectives
- Support Medical Information and Regulatory teams with regard to external queries and ensure ethical procedures are followed

Candidate Profile:
- Fully GMC Registered
- Medically qualified
- Post-qualification clinical experience in the NHS, or a similar setting
- Medical affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry is essential for this role
- Have or be close to achieving ABPI Final Signatory status
- Knowledge of GCP and clinical trial methodology
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong communication skills
- Good relationship-builder; an understanding of how to network with KOLs effectively
- Well organised and pro-active in managing your own tasks
