Medical Affairs Advisor Job - Switzerland

Our client is a major division of a top 10 pharmaceutical company that is seeking a Medical Affairs Advisor for their Swiss affiliate. In this role you will serve as an internal medical expert for the oncology therapeutic area as well as be responsible for networking externally with key influencers. You will work as part of a cross functional team and have close cooperation with global teams in order to maximise the commercial success of the brand/s.

Key Responsibilities:
•Provide medical advice to cross-functional teams consisting of members from pharmacovigilance, clinical, marketing, regulatory and health economics
•Develop and maintain national key opinion leader networks. Organise and participate in advisory boards
•Attend national and international conferences within the relevant therapeutic area
•In collaboration with marketing develop scientific messaging for the brand
•Serve as an essential medical team member for the development and lifecycle management of compounds in regional and global project teams

Sought after skills / experience:
-Medical Doctor with experience in vaccines, infectious diseases, public health or paediatrics
-Corporate experience working as a Medical Affairs Advisor
-Experience in Clinical Development process planning & phase IV study designs
-Broad understanding of the drug development process, ICH/GCP guidelines and international regulations
-Fluent English is essential. Another European language beneficial
