Medical Director Job, Oncology - Germany

A leading pharma company are seeking a medical director to develop and drive medical marketing strategies for key brands in the oncology therapeutic area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Manage and expand networks with KOL's on a global basis to maximize opportunities for the company and its products
•Function as medical lead for promotional activities and publications
•Interact with the local Marketing & Sales companies to provide support, share information and receive input for global programs
•Input into publication strategy development
•Input into planning, design and implementation of Phase III/IV global clinical programmes
•Evaluate Business Development opportunities from medical viewpoint
•Collaborate with R&D in all phases of development for pipeline products

A relevant candidate should have a medical degree and have significant experience of oncology. Experience of managing teams within the pharmaceutical industry is essential as well as a background in medical marketing and/or clinical drug development and R&D. Global/ international experience is highly desirable.
