Regional Medical Advisor Job - North East

An opportunity to join a well respected pharmaceutical company as a Regional Medical Advisor. This role is field based and will involve up to 80% travel to visit various partners and healthcare organisations. The regional remit covering counties within the North East of England.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in developing strategic partnerships with key external stakeholders during the entire life cycle on the company's product range. You will respond to customer-stated needs in order to maintain a therapeutic leadership position and drive business needs at the national, regional, and corporate level. You're key accountabilities will be:

- Product and therapy area training, education and information
- To interact and develop relationships with opinion leaders, regional advisors on clinical practice, and contributors to national guidelines.
- Provide quality scientific presentations at internal and external meetings
- Dealing with customer enquiries on drug safety issues for assigned products
- Working with clinical trial investigators
- Medical lead for local/national advisory boards
- Medico-marketing support for product campaign development and implementation
- Nominating investigators and sites for trials for assigned products
- Ensure the customer facing medical team receive timely information on brand strategy and objectives
- Management of internal scientific review, KOL follow-up, congress and publication planning
- Medical input into assigned in country brand cross functional team

Candidate Requirements:
- GMC Registration
- Medically qualified with significant post-qualification in a clinical setting
- Understanding of clinical research as well as the ability to critically evaluate clinical studies
- An understanding of the process of drug development
- An understanding of the national and regional health environment
- Commercial mindset and motivation to in a business-facing role
