A well known global Pharmaceutical company who are currently enjoying an extensive period of growth. My client is currently looking for a Medical Manager to operate within their UK headquarters. The role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Medical Affairs Physician

Primary Responsibilities

- Assist and advise Marketing Department in the preparation of promotional and training material
- Ensure all materials are fully compliant with the ABPI Prescription Medicines Code of Practice
- Assist and advise Brand teams on promotional activities and compliance with ABPI
- Supervise the initiation, conduct and analysis of the results of clinical programs, integrating the results into brand strategy
- Provide support and training to the sales force and other departments as necessary
- Provide scientific and clinical input into key commercial initiatives as required
- Establish and develop strong relationships with key external customers including KOLs
- Clinical support, guidance and training in the therapeutic area across all functions in the medical division
- Provide support as required to Medical Information, Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance
- Lead and/or provide representation on internal cross functional teams
- Line management of circa 4 Medics and non medics
- Deputise to the Head of Medical Affairs as required

Candidate Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

- Fully registered physician with GMC
- Medically qualified with clinical experience post-registration
- Higher professional qualification desirable but not essential
- Working knowledge of critical appraisal of scientific publications
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Line management experience ideal but not essential
