Medical Affairs Director Job

Our client is a leading global pharmaceutical organisation. They are looking for an experienced pharmaceutical physician to lead in their Medical Affairs Department.

Role
You will report to the Medical Director providing leadership for the therapy area. Working closely with colleagues globally you will provide input into the strategic management of the business.

Key Duties:
- Facilitating launches of pipeline and in-licensed assets.
- Leadership to generate and implement medical plans and activities.
- Medical input and approval of all medical materials.
- Lead medical input for business development to ensure strategic fit for potential assets.
- Lead review of internal and external research proposals to evaluate their fit with the overall strategy.

Candidate Profile:
- Medically qualified
- Strong track record of leadership and delivery of medical affairs (ideally in a launch setting)
- Experience in inflammatory diseases or hepatitis/liver disease
- Extensive experience of promotional practises and commercialisation in Europe.
- Good understanding of product development and regulatory processes
