Medical Advisor Job

CLIENT

A rapidly growing pharmaceutical organisation who are expanding into new therapeutic areas.

ROLE

You will support the UK Medical Director in an UK & Ireland affiliate role but will have regular contact with the global medical affairs and clinical research teams. You duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Management of the Medical Information and Pharmacovigilance functions
- Supporting the Medical Director in terms of the day-to-day operational activities of the Medical Department
- Supporting the sales and marketing teams, regularly answering medical and scientific enquiries
- Input into global projects where relevant
- Medical input into project teams for new product development
- Medical input into safety review committees
- Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders
- Assessing promotional material developed by marketing colleagues
- Develop SOPs that ensure compliance with legal requirements and related codes of practice

CANDIDATE BACKGROUND & SKILLS

- GMC registered physician with substantial post-qualification clinical experience.
- Leadership potential.
- Strong and confident communication style.
- Organised.
- Pro-active, takes the initiative in the work-place.
- Multi-tasker.
- Gasto Intestinal / Anti Infectives experience preferred

SALARY DETAILS

The successful candidate will receive a competitive basic salary with a benefits package (inclusive of car allowance, bonus etc..)
