Pharmacovigilance Physician Job.

CLIENT:

One of the worlds leading Pharmaceutical Companies based on the Buckinghamshire / Berkshire boarder are recruiting for a PV Physician. This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing department and offer first rate career progression for a high calibre candidate.

ROLE:

You will be part of the Pharmacovigilance team responsible for the collection, processing, analysis, assessment and reporting of Adverse Events. You will provide support and medical leadership for the Benefit-Risk Management operations team. You will report to the Lead PV Physician, and further duties will include:

- Medical assessment of the safety profile of the client's product range
- Responsibility for evaluation of Adverse Events
- Review of aggregate reports
- Provide guidance and participation in the follow-up of Adverse Events
- Provide back-up medical support on products/projects where required

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

- Qualified Physician with significant post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital setting or as a GP
- GMC registered
- Motivated and enthusiastic about drug safety

Sound knowledge of general medicine and clinical practice, and the ability to assess the clinical relevance of medical data and to interpret its clinical meaning is essential.

Good communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment is also necessary.
