Baxter International develops, manufactures and markets products that save and sustain the lives of people with haemophilia, immune disorders, infectious diseases, kidney disease, trauma, and other chronic and acute medical conditions.

Baxter's renal business provides products to treat Established Renal Failure and Acute Kidney Injury. The business manufactures solutions and other products for home-based therapies (Peritoneal Dialysis and Home Haemodialysis), and also manufactures and distributes products for CRRT.

Due to organic growth in a number of business areas, Baxter UK is now seeking a Medical Adviser primarily with a background in Nephrology to support and drive the UK clinical business.

The successful candidate will be GMC registered and medically qualified with a minimum of 5 years post registration clinical experience in managing patients in all aspects of renal failure.

The medical advisor will have a key role in developing the clinical strategies to support growth across the renal and nutrition portfolio while having a major impact on the potential growth from new product development in Home Dialysis

This will be achieved through establishing and developing high-level relationships with key stakeholders and the development of medical education and clinical research plans whilst having responsibility for meeting all legal and regulatory requirements for healthcare promotion.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and will be able to operate as a team player. Industry experience is not essential although a keen commercial interest and willingness to learn is.
