Senior Medical Advisor Job - Haematology

Working for the UK affiliate of a global pharmaceutical company, you will drive the company brand for a particular therapeutic franchise. This role is high profile and field-based, although you will report to senior managers from both medical and marketing teams at the company's UK HQ based in the Thames Valley. The primary responsibilities of the role are listed below:

- Develop and maintain relationships with Brand advocates and Key Opinion Leaders.
- Support the development and implementation of the medical and scientific communications plan.
- Co-ordination of medical call plan and relationship development to support brand objectives.
- With support from the UK Medical Director, lead Brand advisory board meetings.
- Work with marketing to drive brand strategy.
- Development of high quality briefing and promotional materials with marketing.
- Provision of Brand training and conference medical Brand support
- Supports the UK Medical Director in managing and defending complaints against the Brand.
- Supports the Medical Information Manager in terms of legislation and code of practice guidelines

Candidates will have the following attributes and skills:

- Medically qualified with substantial post-qualification clinical experience
- GMC registration
- Experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience of working in vaccinology, or a related therapeutic discipline is a distinct advantage
- Commercial mind-set and ability to engage senior level professionals
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, but also prioritise your work-load
