Senior Medical Advisor Job - CNS

A well known global Pharmaceutical company who are currently enjoying an extensive period of growth. My client is currently looking for a Senior Medical Advisor to operate within their UK HQ. Reporting to the Head of Medical Affairs, this is a challenging position with upward progression opportunities. The role will have a responsibility to manage a team of 5 individuals.

Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

- To assist and advise the Marketing team in the preparation of promotional and training material.
- Support and training of the sales force and other teams where necessary.
- Providing medical direction for Phase III-IV studies and related projects
- To build and develop strong relationships with KOLs and other key external customers.
- Delivering scientific presentations to KOLs and/or leading clinical units.
- Providing support to the Medical Information, Regulatory, and Pharmacovigilance departments.
- To ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and internal company procedures for PV.
- To ensure compliance with ABPI Code of Practice.
- Supporting Clinical Research teams where necessary.
- Line management

Location;
Thames Valley

Candidate requirements;
- Fully registered physician with GMC
- Substantial post-qualification clinical experience in the NHS
- Strong experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within medical affairs
- A higher professional qualification is desirable
- Experience of previous line management is not essential, but you will need to have demonstrable leadership qualities
- Clinical experience of CNS / Neurology or related areas is desirable but not essential
- A flexible individual
- Good project management skills
- Solid presentation and communications skills

Salary details;
