Cpl Physicians are partnered with a pharmaceutical company specialized in Oncology & Neurology development on a global scale. With an extensive pipeline in these areas, they are continuing to grow at a rapid rate and are currently seeking an Associate Director, US Medical Excellence and Training.
This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining all US Field Medical training curricular both in terms of technical as well as soft skills. Working closely with the Medical Affairs Leadership team you will ensure alignment of MSLs while also developing new innovative training platforms to roll out across the company. This position will assume leadership by assisting with various projects by teaching, coaching, and mentoring less experienced MSLs in order to assist with onboarding and continued development.

Responsible for the Oncology Field Medical Affairs Unit you will bring new ideas to the table with the ability and autonomy to implement these at your will.
Responsibilities will include:
Responsible for creating and implementing training plans for new hires including on boarding and scientific training
Soft skills training to increase field productivity including presentation skills, digital communication, and business skills
Collaborate cross functionally with Medical Directors and Field Directors to identify training needs and to plan for the most appropriate educational programs
Management of the field medical budget
Develop and monitor metrics and KPIs to assess effectiveness of the activities implemented while providing regular updates to the leadership team
Increase the proficiency of Field Medical Affairs colleagues regarding marketed products while also relaying competitor data and scientific exchange with KOLs
Requirements:
Scientific Degree (PhD, PharmD, MD)
Minimum 3 years experience in training, medical excellence, or education related roles
4-5 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry including time in a field-based role
Proven ability to train, mentor and develop field teams on presentation and soft skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in the NE office
