Our client is a leading pharmaceutical business with a global footprint and a history spanning over 130 years. With innovative medicines across a breadth of therapy areas, they have long established themselves as a leader in the pharmaceutical space and, globally, recruit some of the sharpest scientific minds.

The role:

This role will see you transition from the NHS and take responsibility for a wide variety of cross-functional activities. You will act as a subject matter expert in Gastroenterology and have a rare chance to lead the imminent launch of their exciting Gastro product. A successful Medical Advisor builds a strong network of Key Opinion Leaders, regularly attending conferences and symposia to meet other experts face-to-face. Eventually you will be trained to be an ABPI Final Signatory, a highly desirable status which allows you to sign off promotional material as ABPI code compliant.

Requirements:

– This role is open to any GMC registered physician with significant and demonstrable experience with Gastroenterology (ST4 or above). Both experienced Medical Advisors, Clinical Development physicians and entry level candidates are encouraged to apply.

– Strong commercial acumen and drive to succeed, excellent communication skills and an established understanding of the ABPI code of practice and drug development cycle are desirable, but by no means essential.

This role requires right to work in the UK and ability to work onsite in the office.
