A unique opportunity for a GMC registered physician to join a successful Clinical Research Organisation as their Medical Director for pre and post launch projects. Engaging with all aspects of the clinical trial process, focussed mainly within Oncology & Rare Diseases you will be working within a small close-knit team providing expert service to the clients you work with. This hands-on role will give you a great opportunity to gain a vast amount of experience working alongside the Vice President.
Working closely with the Vice President as a key contact for new projects and medical operations
Support all pre & post marketing activities for the company, assisting with pharmacovigilance activities where needed
Establish and maintain KOL relationships
Able to implement Safety Review & Risk Overview processes
Work on multiple projects at any one time
Mentor and train both internal and external partners
Direct clinical trials where appropriate as well as to implement the medical strategy, procedures and processes
GMC registration with a license to practice is essential
Previous clinical trial experience is strongly preferred
Previous Medical Affairs experience would be a bonus
Minimum of 3 years experience in a CRO / Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical company is essential
Industry experience in Oncology, Immunology or Rare Diseases would be desirable
Ability to pick up some international travel where needed
