My client is a reputable and global business looking for someone to come on board as a Medical Lead within a new area in their Rare Disease pipeline. Focusing on Haemophilia, you will be developed as a future leader to eventually head up your own area of Rare Diseases as the Therapy Area Head! Therapeutic alignment is not essential, so if you have always wanted to work within Rare Diseases or are looking for a new challenge, this is the perfect role!
Medically qualified and GMC registered
Experience within Medical Affairs is essential
Responsibilities will include:
Being responsible for all aspects of medical support for the given pipeline
Ensuring that all Medical Affairs related activities comply with the companys standards, regulations and compliance requirements and follow good ethical practice
Establishing and interacting with KOLs within the therapy area to deliver the therapy area medical affairs plan
Supporting promotional activities by reviewing and approving marketing materials to ensure compliance within UK regulatory framework
Providing scientific and clinical input on cross-functional sales and marketing teams
Following the requirements of the ABPI Code of Practice
