Medical Science Liaison

Medical Science Liaison with clinical nursing education background in the area of women's health and molecular diagnostics to call on influential physicians, primarily infectious disease specialists, including family practitioners, obstetricians, gynecologist, laboratory specialists and others as needed, within a wide geography in order to discuss product attributes, product development and clinical specimen collection.
Qualifications:Experience and Education: BS in nursing, registered nurse or equivalent is required. An OB/GYN nurse practitioner is a plus.The position requires a minimum of three years’ experience in clinical nursing or clinical nursing education.
Clinical experience examining patients and understanding physician patient interaction, understanding clinic patient workflow, and electronic records workflow.Excellent organizational, leadership, and presentation skills, with the ability to multi-task on several projects.Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adjust to multiple communication styles.Ability to identify unmet medical, educational and research needs within the medical communityCritical thinking, strategic, and analytical skills and a team approach to problem solving and decision making.
Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time (mostly domestic, potential international).Skills and Knowledge:OB/GYN clinical experience and knowledge is a significant plusWorking knowledge of Good Clinical PracticeLicenses or Certifications:Certified nurse educator is a plus.
