These are just a few of the things you can expect when joining this global biotechnology company specialized in targeted cell therapies for precision medicine in Oncology. With a growing presence in the US and recent funding, this organization are currently seeking a Senior Director to report into the Executive Director Clinical Sciences.
You will be solely responsible for a small phase II study in Immuno-Oncology as well as a Phase III Oncology trial that is working towards US approval. Joining a small medical team, you will be part of an exciting development in the business as they continue to grow and expand. With a new and extremely experienced leadership team in place, you will have support when needed and will be given autonomy to conduct your trials.
Responsibilities will include:
Responsible for a Phase III Oncology trial that has recently received global approval and is working towards US approval
Solely responsible for a small Phase II Oncology trial that is starting imminently
Responsible for acting as the Medical Monitor on assigned trials
Act as the clinical lead on several Phase I III studies
Design and develop Immuno-Oncology clinical trials including the creation of protocols, investigator brochures, annual reports and more
Cross functional focus with a large input into the Clinical Development team
Develop and advance a Clinical Development strategy and plan for their Oncology programs, designing and implementing phase I-III clinical studies
Analyse clinical data, including safety monitoring collaborating with cross functional teams
Long term headcount planning with a view to expanding the team as the clinical trials progress
Requirements:
MD or PhD (MD with 4+ years experience in the industry or PhD with 7+ years experience in the industry)
Clinical trial experience in phase I-III studies in Oncology/Immuno-Oncology
Leadership qualities, able to work from the ground up
Medical Monitoring experience essential
Knowledge of GCP, FDA regulations and guidelines
Proven track record of success in executing development programs in Oncology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
