Senior MSL Oncology-Central USA-Chicago preferred
Scope of Role: Responsible for developing and enhancing professional relationships with medical thought leaders and supporting clinical trial related activities. This position is a key conduit in providing medical education and information through scientific exchange in a fair-balanced manner and providing clinical/scientific support for Boston Biomedical.
Build and maintains professional relationships to expand research, advisory, and educational partnerships opportunities.
Ensure high standard of professionalism to develop and maintain ‘peer-to-peer’ scientific relationships with key thought leaders.
Support data dissemination in congresses and at medical advisory boards
Provide scientific liaison support to investigators.
Serve as a liaison between healthcare professionals and Medical Affairs.
Provide clinical trial support by identifying potential trial sites, participating at site initiation visits, and/or other related activities.
Facilitate 1:1 and group scientific interactions with healthcare professionals.
Participate in Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement planning.
Maintain KOL plans and update medical customer relationship management system in a timely and compliant manner.
Conduct therapeutic training for Sales and Medical colleagues upon request.
Appropriately document interactions and planned schedule of activities in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
Establish and promote productive working partnerships with parent and affiliate resources as appropriate. Perform other duties as needed.
Advanced degree in life sciences (MD, PhD, PharmD) with oncology, specifically solid tumour experience within colorectal and pancreatic cancer preferred.
Minimum of 5 years working in a field-based medical capacity within the pharma/biotech industry.
Medical, clinical, or research experience in the assigned disease area is preferred.
Strong verbal communication particularly in articulating scientific concepts and data and strategic planning.
Hands-on, pro-active with customers and internal stakeholders, subject matter expert complemented by sound business acumen.
Travel requirements: up to 50%.
