We are partnered with a ‘Top 20’ pharmaceutical organisation who are currently seeking an experienced candidate to come on board and lead the UK Oncology franchise. Working closely with the Medical Director, you will be responsible for significant input into the medical strategy and leading their Oncology team through exciting launches.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of the UK Medical Affairs team consisting of Senior Medical Advisors & MSLs.
Establishing clear directions for the team, ensuring clear and appropriate objectives and role guidelines are established for each function .
Robust KOL management.
Lead Oncology Medical Affairs activities in preparation of product launches within the portfolio, head up training internally & externally with the inclusion educational materials.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
In-industry Oncology experience essential (at least 3 years worth if you haven’t previously managed)
ABPI Final Medical Signatory preferred but not essential
Line management experience preferred but but not essential
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
Strong commercial acumen and business awareness
